He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Gerhardt and Theresa Gerhardt (Hyland). He is survived by : his wife Roni (Anger); his children, Mary Gerhardt and Douglas Gerhardt (Casey Ferguson); his granddaughter Lily Gerhardt; and his sisters, Debbie Malone (Jim) and Mimi Roth (Marty).

A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (85 Great Plain Rd, Danbury, CT 06810).
