He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Michael (Gloria Luizzi); his wife Janet Luizzi; his daughters, Megan Luizzi (Jay Zimmerman) and Erin Wallace (Iain Wallace); his grandchildren, Sam and Amelia Wallace; and his siblings, Richard Luizzi (Linda Luizzi) and Patti Haberstick (Lew Haberstick).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) in Michael's memory.
