With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Went (Brookfield, Connecticut), who passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tomascak and Elizabeth Tomascak (Piskura); her grandson Anthony Went; and her siblings, Dorothy Bona, Theresa Docktor, John, Aloysius and Vincent Tomascak (Fox).
She is survived by: her husband Henry Joseph Went; her sister Elizabeth Wojciechowski of Brookfield; her brothers-in-law, Joseph Went of Fairfax, VA and Francis Bona; her sons, Robert (Martha) of Cumberland, RI and James (Bonnie) of The Villages, FL; her grandsons, Andrew (Jeanine), Matthew (Athena), Christopher (Jessica) and Jeffrey (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Edward, Domenic, Jocelyn, Christopher Jr., Adelaide, Jonathan, James, Kevin and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Brookfield Fire Department Auxiliary.
