It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lee Groner of Brookfield, Connecticut, born in Bay Shore, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burnett and Dorothy Bandy (Jacobs). She is survived by: her husband Paul James; her children, Cheryl Oberndorfer (Kyle) of Brookfield and Todd Kopriva (Sandy) of Seattle; her grandchildren, BJ Oberndorfer of Santa Ana, CA, Devin Oberndorfer of Brookfield and Karlee Oberndorfer of Brookfield; and her sister Elsie Adams of Danbury, CT.
In keeping with Lee's wishes, the family will celebrate her life privately and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
