He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Johnson and Mina Johnson (Nyberg); his former wife Karen; and his brothers, Eric and Chuck.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson (Deakin); his children, Kirk Johnson (Elizabeth) of Killingworth, Becky Kirsten Johnson (Lars Karlsson) of Gothenburg and Sweden; his stepson John Henry (Jinny) of St. Cloud, FL; and his grandson Arvid Karlsson.
