He was predeceased by: his spouse Rinalda "Rena" Arzt (Brengi); his parents, Francis Arzt and Elsie Arzt (Werner); his daughter Deborah "Debbie" Allard; his siblings, Robert, Gertrude Shykula and Marion Hastillo; and his sons-in-law, Richard Allard and Alvin Fryxell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Mather (Gary) and Nanette Fryxell; his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Wanda; his grandchildren, Richard, Stephanie, Alvin and Christopher; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and close friends, and his best friend and companion.
