Thomas F. Burns Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas F. Burns of Broad Brook, Connecticut, who passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William J. Burns, Sr.; his siblings, William J. Burns, Jr. (Dorothy) and Alice V. Burns (Joan Sage Geffken); and his stepdaughter Patricia Cote. He is survived by: his mother Alice E. Gunshanan Burns; his family, Cape Cod and Nantucket; his daughters, Eileen Roberge (Michael), Cheryl Siedor (Geoffrey) of Vernon, CT, Theresa Greco (Vincent) of East Hampton, CT, Linda Zaffetti (Walter) of Broad Brook, CT. and Joan Sammon Lynch of Windsor, CT.; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Elizabeth, Daniel, Bailey, Ivy, Riley, Vincent, Noelle, Talulah and Lena; his close friend Patricia Harlan; his stepchildren, Susan Courtemanche (Joseph) and Frederick Geffken (Kathleen); his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Cote, Tristan Courtemanche, Amanda Stiland (Logan) and Kaylee Geffken; and also, Stacy (Chris Willey), Nick, Noah and Ryan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
