He was predeceased by: his parents, William Niemann and Isabel Niemann (Boucher); and his grandson Jesse Lee Williams. He is survived by: his wife Mary Niemann (Dimmock); his children, Maryann, Ron Levesque, Sr. of Vernon, Christine, Kenneth Hunt of Broad Brook, Wendy, Gary Spaulding of Ellington, Wanda Niemann-Marshall and Dan Marshall of Albany, NY; his grandchildren, Maureen Higgins, Miranda Wilson (Jared), Ronald Levesque, Jr., Joshua Levesque, Rebeka Webb, Chester Hunt (Jocelyn), Melissa Hunt Sutyla (Christopher Sutyla), Keith Spaulding and Lisa Gallipo; his stepgrandchildren, Dale and Karen Spaulding; his great grandchildren, Amaya Williams, Eric, Sean Higgins, Luke Wilson, Briella Hunt and Gavin Matthew Levesque; and his siblings, Clifford Niemann (Eileen) of Ellington and Nancy Charette (Mel) of Maine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
