He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Blinn and Jeanette Blinn (Gagnon); his wife Mary Blinn (Giordano); and his brothers, Richard and Robert Blinn.

He is survived by: his children, Paula Morabito (Robert Gilson) of Niantic and John Blinn of Windsor Locks; his grandchildren, Dylan Morabito, Amanda Morabito (Dustin Seifert), Erica Morabito, Zachary Blinn and Rachel Blinn; and his siblings, Danny Blinn (Debbie) of Somers, Sandy Blinn and Sandra Borelli of Glastonbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
