He is survived by: his wife Elly; his children, Johnny Rabus (Debbie) of Chesterfield, Virginia, Alan Rabus (Barbara) of South Windsor and Heidi Strongin (David) of Westbrook, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Kayla, Johnny, Gregory, Matthew, Patrick and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Miles, Alexander and Ian; and his sister Erika.
