She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelmore Couture and Angelina Couture (Bernier); her siblings, Paul Couture and Jeannette Zappone; and her brother-in-law Henry Szyszkowski (Hank).

She is survived by: her children, Brian Simard (Marie) of Burlington, Diane Wojtusik (Philip) of Bristol, David Simard (Julie) of Farmington, Debra Caruso (Richard) of Harwinton and Gary Simard (Janique) of Southington; her grandchildren, Amanda, Molly, Sarah Wojtusik, Emma, Abby Simard, Steven, Laura, Thomas Caruso, Jaime, Nathan, John Simard and Wyatt Simard; her siblings, Alice Szyszkowski, Henry Couture (Judy), Gerard Couture (Mary Lou) and Leon Couture (Sally); and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Couture and Joseph Zappone. She is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
