With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William G. Short (Bristol, Connecticut), who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Short (Laura); his grandchildren, Ivy and Lucy; his daughter April Pearce (Jared); his grandson Jackson; his sister Barbara Soden (Ken); his nephew David Orr Soden; his niece Heather Maynard (David); his great-nieces, Hannah, Grace and Lily; his great-nephew Nolan; and also Patricia Almy.
The family expresses their gratitude to the compassionate staff at St. Francis Hospital and care-giver Idah and requests that donations in Bill's honor be made to a favorite charity or St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Ave., Bristol, CT 06010.
