He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hermann and Helen Hermann (Anderson); and his siblings, Clarence, Russell Hermann and Helen Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Hermann (Griffin); his children, Scott Hermann (Danielle Clark) of East Haven, Dr. Todd Hermann (Cynthia Hermann), Christopher Hermann (Stephanie) of Niantic, Tracey Hermann (Dale Thompson) and Sara Hermann (Kimberly Skerven); his grandchildren, Lindsay Lacey (William), Michael Hermann (Samantha), Robert Hermann, Katherine Reignhart (Vera), Allison Hermann, Rachel Hermann, Nicholas Hermann, Eric Hermann (Christine Anthony), Ashley Cusick (Andrew), Walter Hermann and Jozef Hermann (Shannon Dulac); his great grandchildren, Cameron and Peyton Lacey; his grandchildren, Bria, Olivia, Evertt, Jameson Hermann, Breccan and Lachlann Cusick; and his siblings, Ronald Hermann of East Berlin and Ruth Stoker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (24 Lincoln Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 8:45 AM and at 10:00 AM. A procession was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the TBD St. Gregory Church (235 Maltby St, Bristol, CT 06010).
