He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Waskiewicz and Stella Waskiewicz (Jaglowski); and his son Matthew Waskiewicz. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Waskiewicz (Sakowski); and his daughter Katherine Budzyn (Edward) of Goshen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Stjude.org.
