He is survived by: his children, Thomas Schittina (Denise) of Old Lyme and Carolyn Pollack (Frank) of Bristol; his sister Clara Laye of Austin Texas; his grandchildren, Michael Pollack (Catherine) and Karen Pollack; and his great grandchild Jacob Pollack.
