He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwik Panek and Janina Panek; and his brothers, Edward and Ryszard. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Panek (Chudy); his children, Katherine Panek of Bristol, Patricia Panek of Bristol and Kinga Kaczan (Zbignew) of Bristol; his brother Kazimierz Panek (Barbara) of Ellington; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Kaczan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
