It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan J. Amenta of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore J. Amenta; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Dziob. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Dojan-Velarde (Robert Velarde) of Summerville, SC, Thomas Amenta (Pamela) of Burlington and Melissa Dziob (Jeffrey Haynes); her sisters, Judith Hayes (John) of Burlington and Linda Obermeyer (Ted) of Loxahatchee, FL; her grandchildren, Brianna, Taylor Dojan, Kayla Ringie (Andrew), Anthony Amenta, Nathan Dziob (Jenifer Swiger) and Abigail Dziob; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Jonathan Dziob. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
