With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth L. Michaud of Bristol, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Place and Madeline Place (LaPointe); her husband Louis Michaud; her stepfather Paul Lopata; and her siblings, Bernie Place and Nancy Kilduff.
She is survived by: her close friends, Gemma and Reno Dube; her children, Carl Michaud (Lisa) of Litchfield, Cheryl Taylor (Frederick) of Granby, Lori DeFillippi of Terryville and Paul Michaud (Lori) of Bristol; her sister Sharon Shea (Thomas) of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Jeremy Michaud, Sara Wodatch (Kevin), Joey DeFillippi and Hannah Gagnon; her great grandchildren, Sydni Michaud, Andrew, Jacob Wodatch and Alianize Maldonado; and her pets, Jack, Daisy and Max. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
