Roy Mauldin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Mauldin of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Martha H. Mauldin (Philipp); his parents, Steadman Mauldin and Annie Mauldin (Gray); his son Raphael Roy Mauldin; his siblings, James Thomas Mauldin (Virginia) and Annie Hoffman; his nephews, Elmore Sparks and Derrick Sparks; and his niece Elaine Chappell.

He is survived by: his niece Brenda Bosse of Bristol; his great-nieces, Desiree Piatek (Adam) and Adrienne Bosse; his great-nephew Austin Willoughby (Holly); his nephew James "Eddie" Mauldin (Wanda); his niece Vickie Coley (David); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amy Nesbury and Kelly Creed; his niece Sandra Dutton (Jerry); his great-nieces, Amber Dutton-Hanlon and Jennifer Feliu; his niece Marilyn Sparks; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charles Chappell, Darryle Dunn and Ethan Dunn; his nephew Steadman "Ricky" Sparks (Elizabeth "Liz"); his great-nephew Charles "Ricky" Sparks; his great-niece Michelle Sparks Ellerbe; and also, Thomas Mauldin, Addison, Madelyn Piatek and Scott Sparks.

Calling hours will be held from 3 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 with a memorial tribute at 4 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT.
