He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Armstrong and Rita Armstrong (May); and his siblings, Edward Armstrong and Dianne LaBrecque. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Armstong (Grygaitis); his daughters, Cathleen Brush (Douglas) of Oakdale and Terri Schaffrick (Brad) of Bristol; his granddaughters, Jennifer Brush Colombo (Andrew), Jaclyn Brush Fraser (Dennis), Alyson Schaffrick Doty (Zachary), Lindsey Schaffrick (Zachary Norton) and Chelsea Schaffrick; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Hayden Fraser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (120 Church Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).
