He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marek and Josephine Marek (Browy); his wife Judi Marek; his grandson Nicholas Davis; his brother Frank Marek; and his stepdaughter Darla Allen.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Wojcik of Bristol; his children, Robert F. Marek Jr. (Carrie) of Okmulgee, OK, Annette J. Bishop (Scott) of Meriden, Diane L. Marek of Bristol, Ronald J. Marek (Tina Pagano) of Southington and Cheryl A. Marek of Plantsville; his stepchildren, Dale Dearborn, Denise Cooper and Wayne Dearborn; his grandchildren, Robert F. Marek III, Melinda Spencer (Blake), Anthony Doneday, Deidra Plourde, Melissa Rader (Keith), Jason Marek, Amanda Rideout (David Andrew R.) and Megan Marek; and his siblings, Brian Marek (Debbie) of Southington, Randall Marek (Donna) of Southington and Ruth Kingsley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
