He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clive Poland, Sr. and Gertrude Poland (Ennis); his daughter Lisa Poland (Todd) of Greenville, SC; and his siblings, Sgt. Thomas "Buddy" Poland, Millie D'Antonio and Patricia Conklin.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Mendez (Thomas) of Bristol, Thomas Poland of Homer, AK and Laurie Gondek (Stephen) of Avon; and also Bruce Sprague (Theresa) of Plymouth. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
