It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Maitz of Bristol, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Valentine Maitz and Barbara Maitz of Berlin; his son Cristian Maitz of Clinton, MA; his sisters, Stacie, Tuoc Phan of South Carolina, Sandra and Thomas Nichols of Andover; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Phan, Tyler Phan, Kylie Nichols, Tamer Nichols and Jake Nichols; and his great-niece Everleigh Nichols.
The family has established an education fund at TD Bank to support Rich's son, Cristian, and have requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the "Cristian Maitz Educational Fund" at any TD Bank branch.
