It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Machia of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Saint Albans, Vermont, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Machia and Edna Machia (Creller); and his brother Robert Machia. He is survived by : his spouse Pia Machia (Pellerin); his daughters, Nicole Malvezzi (Thomas) of Bristol and Brittany Machia of Bristol; his siblings, Donna Trainor of Tariffville, Lloyd Machia of Virginia and Deborah Corey of Virginia; and his grandsons, Sebastian and Julian Malvezzi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
