With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Edward Penikas (Bristol, Connecticut), born in Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on February 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Penikas (Krauss); his children, James Penikas of Bristol, Thomas Penikas of Simsbury, Richard Penikas Jr. of East Hartford and Nancy Sullivan-Oliver of Fredericksburg, VA; and his siblings, Vincent Penikas of Bristol, Robert Penikas and Dorothy Reseck of Portland. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
