It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Degnan (Bristol, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Degnan and Emma Degnan; his wife Ann Powers Lugg; his siblings, Kenneth, James, Shirley, Bernie and Michael; and his son Richard Lugg.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Degnan of Hartford, CT, Jennifer Dubois (Gary) of Bristol, CT and Loren Lugg of Westbrook, CT.; his grandchildren, Leayn Darley (Seth) of Milton, NY, Leah Pinette of Medford, MA and Corey Pinette of West Hartford, CT.; and his great grandchildren, Harper Ann Darley and Baby Darley.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in honor of Richard to the American Heart Association.
