Rene Soto Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rene Soto Sr. of Bristol, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Soto and Carmen Soto; his wife Adela Soto; his daughter Alva Quilter; and his grandson John Quilter (Paula Freeman).
He is survived by: his sons, Rene "Pete" Soto, Jr. (Kimberly) and Carlos "Charlie" Soto (Theresa); his grandchildren, Eric (Jennie), Brandon (Leah), Marc (Peter) and Meredith (Jamey); his great grandchildren, Mia, Leo, Layla, Azalia, Christopher, Austin, Brendon, Caitlyn, Zachary, Bobby, Billy and Jaxon; his great great grandchild Maverick; his son-in-law John "Jack" Quilter (Marsha); and also Melissa "Missy". He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
