He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Niedziela and Joseph Bak; his wife Barbara Bak (Zelek); and his siblings, Stephanie Balamucki, Stanley Bak, John Bak, Celia Tobias and Jane Pavelka.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Bak of East Hartford and Josephine Tenerowicz of Rocky Hill; and his children, Michael Bak (Linda) of Bristol, Daniel Bak of Bristol, Diane Muzzarelli (Paolo) of Windsor and Mariane Hart (Joseph) of Hebron. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
