She was predeceased by: her parents, Philias Garand and Emeline Garand (Fortier); and her brothers, Andre Garand and Robert Garand. She is survived by: her children, Denise Shea of Bristol, Debbie Draper (Vincent) of Terryville, Donna Gallagher (Douglas) of Charlotte, NC and Donald Shea (Jennifer) of Deep River; her grandchildren, Kristen, Ashley, Amanda, Benjamin, Jonathan, Ethan and Cheyenne; and her siblings, John Garand (Geraldine) of Bristol and Antoinette Boilard (Norman) of Bristol. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
