He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Hartney and John Ward; his wife Arline Barzee (Brunet); his sons, Michael David Barzee and James Barzee of Manchester; his brother Arthur Ward of Bristol; his former wife Deborah Barzee (Nightingale) of Bristol; his daughter-in-law Dr. Sarah Barzee of West Hartford; and his grandchildren, Amethyst Barzee, Jack Greene, Brandon Greene and Michael Lee Barzee.
