She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Galan and Etelvina Salinas. She is survived by: her children, Victor (Lilian Sanmartin), Felipe Sanmartin, Diego (Valeria Sanmartin) and Nube Sanmartin of Ecuador; and her siblings, Raul, Carmela of Ecuador, Rosa of Ecuador, Melania of Ecuador and Rebecca of Ecuador. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
