He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Collins (Haskell); his parents, Louis Collins and Thomasina Collins (Galgano); his son Todd Collins; his sister Eva Fortier; and his nephew Glen Fortier.
He is survived by: his son Mark Collins (Heather) of Bristol; his stepdaughters, Paula Sampson of Bristol and Kim Brown-Pisarski of Terryville; his brother Thomas Collins; his grandchildren, Steven, Justin, Jelisa, Austin, Noah and Kason; his great grandchildren, Sigrid Marie and Genevieve; and his nephews, Gary of Bristol, Jimmy of Bristol and David (Mary Fortier) of Bristol.
