She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley L. Smarkus; her parents, Alfred Rittle and Victoria Rittle (Kowalski); and her daughter Jerilyn Smarkus. She is survived by: her children, David Smarkus (Lori Jean) of Bristol and Allison McGowan (Darren) of Bristol; and her grandchildren, Craig Smarkus, Colin and Griffin McGowan.
