We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 89, Lavern Goodwin of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Terryville, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Goodwin (LaFountain); his father Hubert Goodwin; his siblings, Wilbur "Bo" Goodwin, Clifford Goodwin (Dolores), Beverly Mayhew (Kenneth) and Beatrice White (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Henry LaFountain (Diane), Edmund LaFountain, Barbara Bishop (Gene), Eva Calver (Bob) and Izzy LaFountain.
He is survived by: his children, Dunning Sand, Gravel, Martin Laviero, Trucking, Rick Goodwin (Cindy), Tim "Fuzzy" Goodwin and Diane Greene (Matthew); his grandchildren, Bret, Keith Goodwin (Amber Sacchi), Jena Spatkowski (Kevin) and Jodi Constant (Charles); his great grandchildren, McKayla, Violet Goodwin, Hailey and Leighton Rae Spatkowski; and his siblings-in-law, Joan LaFountain, Christine Howland, Howard LaFountain, Vincent LaFountain and Robert LaFountain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
