Larry Edward Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 78, Larry Edward Nelson of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Burlington, Vermont passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Edward Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedley Nelson and Catherine Nelson (Rouille); and his brothers, William Nelson and Donald Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Kristen Giantonio (Joe Giantonio), Kimberly Snyder, Kari Nelson, Heather LoNero (Salvatore LoNero) and Darren Clark; his grandchildren, Mia Giantonio, Matthew Snyder, McKenzie Clark, Nathan Dembik, Kaitlyne Clark, Courtney Clark and Isabella LoNero; and his siblings, Robert Nelson, James Nelson and Brenda Laperuta (Nelson). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (24 Lincoln Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (120 Church Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A procession was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (522 Terryville Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).
Due to Larry's big, passionate heart and his love for all people and causes, donations in his name can be made to a charity or your choice or the Bristol Elks Lodge #1010 in lieu of flowers.
