He is survived by: his parents, Kevin B. Bowden, Sr. and Victoria Bowden (Andrews) of Bristol; his sister Sarah MacDonald (Dathan MacDonald) of Bristol; his niece Emma; his nephew Carter MacDonald; and his brother Eric Bowden of Middletown. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“Although many cherished memories flood my mind when I think of Kevin, one of my favorites is that snappy spark in his brown eyes in his second grade year when he described with great detail the work he was doing on my "garbage truck" to make it work better. He had been lying on his back under a chair during a rainy-day-recess, industriously doing "mechanic work." The price he so emphatically quoted me with a serious nod? "72 and 14 dollars!" I loved his heart to make things better!”
