She is survived by: her spouse Robert; her daughters, Kimberly Komlos Pedersen of Terryville and Katherine Boston of Watertown; her sister Judith Rivnyak of Shelton; her grandchildren, Kiel Pedersen of Philadelphia, Kelsey Pedersen of Terryville, Kady Pedersen, Robert Pedersen and Abigail Pedersen; and also Komlos.

Instead of flowers, the family invites people to make a donation to a local animal shelter or charity.
