He was predeceased by: his wife Helene Poglitsch (Karambay); and his parents, Frank F. Poglitsch and Adeline Poglitsch (Deutsch). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert F. Poglitsch (Holly) of Woodbury and Judy L. Poglitsch of Newington; and his stepdaughter Wendy Carlson (Glenn Schroeder) of Bristol.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
