He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. O'Dell and Vivian O'Dell (Lockery); his son Patrick O'Dell; and his sister Lynn Bednarz. He is survived by: his wife Muriel O'Dell (Casey); his son John O'Dell; his grandchildren, Vivian O'Dell, Andrew O'Dell (Jessenia), Bonita O'Dell, Matthew O'Dell (Megan), Peter O'Dell and Maddy O'Dell (Nathan); his great grandchild Kolton O'Dell; his brother Robert O'Dell (Caryn); and his brother-in-law Robert Bednarz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
