He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John D. and Mary Remecki, Sr. (Mikulak); his former wife Anita Remecki (Lauretti); his fiancée Carol Sullivan of Plainville; his daughters, Annmarie Gowdy (Doug) of Bristol and Joanne of Terryville; his grandchildren, Tyler, Lauren, Megan, Andrew, Jacob, Sydney and Luke; and his sisters, Florence Simons of Bristol, Dorothy Brewer (Keith) of Bristol, Janet Ziggiotto and Jean McLaughlin. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
