We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joan Marie Mackie of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lewandowski and Helen Lewandowski (Koczur); and her brother Rev. David Lewandowski. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mackie; her children, Stephan Mackie of Bristol, Dawn Cistulli (John) of Bristol, Janet Chamberland (Neil) of Vernon and Bonnie West (Gary) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda), Anthony (Christina), Maria (Dieter), Lauren (Joshua), Zachary, Des (Alanna) and Connor; her great grandchildren, Dieter, Grace and Lucy; and her brother Edward Lewandowski (Jean). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (235 Maltby St, Bristol, CT 06010).
