With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet A. Kowalczyk of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Joseph "Roland" Rodrique; her sister Melissa Bartlett; her father-in-law Robert Kowalczyk Sr.; and her brother-in-law John Kowalczyk Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her mother Patricia Linscott of New Hampshire; her sons, Derek Zito, Glenn Haynes (Erica), Kevin Barriault and Craig Barriault (Linda) of Torrington, CT; her grandchildren, Brianna, Kevin Jr., Clair, Aaron, Bethany, Dawn, Parker and Ella; her sister Pamela Damon of Bristol; her mother-in-law Mary Kowalczyk; her siblings-in-law, Robert Kowalczyk (Lea), Mary Petruzzi (Michael) of Southington and Eva Verrilli (Tony) of Southington; and her friend Cheryl Woodward of Bristol. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
