He is survived by: his children, Sarah Orhani (Ryan) of Bristol, Heather Ritchie (Brian Cournoyer) of Bristol and Zach Ritchie (Ashly); his sister Nancy Varkal of Bristol; and his nephews, Peter and Paulie Varkal.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (24 Lincoln Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).

“Dear Nancy and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a friend for 60+ years, growing up on Morningside Dr we have many memories playing kickball and baseball in Currey Court and the typical mischief we would all get in as kids and teenagers. He was there for us when Steve passed which was appreciated. Marianne was the best thing that happened for Jimmy and we were sorry to learn of her recent passing as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sue and Karen Iles”
