He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Dumont (Butler). He is survived by: his wife Melanie Dumont (Wentworth); his father Roland J. Dumont; his children, Matt Dumont (Stephanie) of Avon and Elizabeth Flynn (Patrick) of California; his siblings, Cheryl Dumont-Smith (Attorney Ed Smith) of Bristol and Scott Dumont (Lori) of Massachusetts; and his granddaughters, Grace, Charlotte Dumont, Payten and McKenna Flynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Saint Paul Catholic High School, 1001 Stafford Ave. Bristol, CT 06010 or the Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut, 501 Wolcott Road, Bristol, CT 06010.
