He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Peters and Lillian Peters (Greisner); and his daughter Erin Shannon (Peters). He is survived by: his sons, James J. Peters Jr. (Christa Ann) of Bristol and Adam Peters (Kristina) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Xavier, Anthonie, Dominic Iudiciani, Milo and Georgia Peters; and his sisters, Janice Peters of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jo Ann Potter of Vernon, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).
