He is survived by: his spouse Claire; his children, Todd Akerley (Rachel) of Coventry and Tammi Lavoie (Thomas) of Bristol; his siblings, Edward Akerley of Van Buren, ME, Roger Akerley of Bristol, Rita Prentice and Verna Ouellette of Bristol; his grandchildren, Brett Akerley (Melissa) of Bristol, Alison Akerley (Walker Guliano) of Taunton, MA and Amy Akerley of Shelton; his stepgrandsons, Devin Lavoie of Bristol and Gregory Lavoie (Bethany Kiefer); and his great grandchildren, Ryland and Aidan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
