He was predeceased by: his parents, Esdras Castonguay and Laurette Castonguay (Auger); and his sister Juliette Phaneuf. He is survived by: his spouse Emelia Castonguay (Theriault); his children, Daniel Castonguay of Canada, Linda Castonguay (Serge Paré) of Canada and Nicole Castonguay (John LeBeau) of Canada; his stepchildren, Philip St. Jarre of Torrington, Diane Petersen (Glenn) of Unionville and Sandra Black (Ronald) of Vernon; his siblings, Monique Ouellet (Raymond), Denise Lepage (Albert), Gilles Castonguay (Mariette), Lionel Castonguay (Francoise) and Jack (Henri); his grandchildren, Catherine (Marie-Eve LeBeau), Ryan (Sabrina Castonguay), Kelly Field, Stacie (Matthew St. Jarre), Daniel (Sara Petersen) and Chelsea Dingus; and his great grandchildren, Lexie, Emile LeBeau-Brousseau, Zander, Jaxon Dingus, Avery and Emmilyn Field. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
