He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanislaw Mielcarek and Wiktoria Mielcarek (Matczak). He is survived by: his wife Lucyna Mielcarek (Marchelska); his children, Wojciech Mielcarek (Barbara) of Poland, Iwona Nemets and Tomasz Mielcarek (Anna) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Kamila Blank (Kirk), Klaudia Mariano (Ryan), Dorota Mielcarek, Alicja Paci (Chris), Robert Mielcarek (Natalia), Cezary Mielcarek (Marta), Martyna Mielcarek and Nel Mielcarek; his great grandchildren, Corbin, Casper, Colton, Noah, David, Enzo, Nico, Józef, Liliana and Malwinka; and his brothers, Andrzej Mielcarek (Urszula) of Bristol and Ryszard Mielcarek (Irena) of Poland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
