She is survived by: her husband Richard; her son Thomas (Cynthia) of Bristol, CT; and her grandchildren, Dawn M. Switser of Weeki Wachee, FL, Richard "Rick" Makara of Stamford, CT, Heather M. Lessard of Old Greenwich, CT, Justin Makara of Manchester, CT and Julie Bloom. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
