She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Marchitto and Carmela Marchitto (Vastola); her husband John Anastasio; her siblings, Louise Buemi and Anthony Marchitto; and her daughter Susan Anastasio.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Schroeder (Kurt) of Cheshire, Jean Sutton (Daron) of Old Lyme and John Anastasio (Jane) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Mark Anastasio (Cecilia), Paul Anastasio of Bristol, John E. Anastasio of Burlington, Chelsea Riendeau (Greg) of Newington, Connor Anastasio of Farmington and Julie Sutton of West Hartford; her great grandchildren, Grace Anastasio and Levi Gonzalez; and her brother Ernest Marchitto of Hamden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
